Charles Duke bio:


Charles Duke is an ASCAP award-winning songwriter, music director, classically trained pianist, arranger, composer, and singer. As a music director, he has worked with Broadway stars in their solo debut concerts, including Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple) and Michael Williams (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). He also musically directed performances for Queen’s Central Library Cultural Connection.

As a pianist, he has performed in the production of Sleep No More and NYCLU’s Broadway Stands Up for Freedom. Charles currently has a residency at the Innside by Melia in Chelsea and has performed at venues including the Lincoln Center, Ashford and Simpson’s Sugar Bar, and the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. He has produced and released four EP projects as a solo artist and his music arrangements have been featured on MSNBC.

Charles is a native of Atlanta, GA, who graduated from the University of Miami and studied at Frost School of Music. He currently resides in Harlem, NY.
